- What are the picture requirements for my photos that I upload?
Your photographs need to be in a digital format; either from a digital camera, CD or scanned image, saved as a JPG, TIF, BMP or (as a last resort because it is a poor choice for quality photos) GIF.
Pictures on the cardpacks will be no larger than 2-1/8" x 3-3/8", so smaller file sizes usually work well (80 KB – 1 MB recommended file size).
Landscape photos (wider than tall) will position on a card better than a portrait photo (taller than wide), but either can be used.
A general rule: if a photograph looks good to you and it's at least 80KB, it almost always looks good on a cardpack. If you're not sure of the file size, in Windows you can right-click onthe image, select "properties" and the file size will be displayed.
- How long does it take to make my photo cardpacks?
Once your order is submitted it usually takes 3-5 business days to produce and ship your photo cardpacks.
- How durable are Keepsake Photo cardpacks?
We use a very durable synthetic material designed for demanding print applications. This means that your photo cardpacks are; waterproof, tear resistant, flexible and last for many years.
- What holds the Photo cardpack together?
A simple but very effective non-corrosive eyelet in the corner holds the cards together and allows for easy viewing by rotating each card around the eyelet.
- How thick are the Photo cardpacks?
The total thickness (8 cards) is about the same thickness as a standard credit card. The synthetic material we use is very durable and also very thin and flexible.
- How big are the Photo cardpacks?
Roughly the size of a business card, the cardpacks measure approximately 2.25" high x 3.375" wide.
